The website explains a functional prototype entering pilot deployment. It does not provide engineering advice, certification, a safety-case approval or permission to operate.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation.
Our Privacy Policy explains how information associated with the Site is handled.
2. Site purpose and product status
The Site provides general information about Barrier Intelligence, Assure3D, our verification method, possible applications and the pilot programme. References to capabilities, outputs, performance targets or future products are descriptive and may change as development and validation continue.
Assure3D is presented as a functional prototype entering pilot deployment unless we state otherwise in a signed agreement. AssureLive and other future capabilities are not offered through this Site merely because they are described.
3. Engineering and safety boundary
Content on the Site is not engineering, legal, regulatory or safety advice. It is not a substitute for site-specific analysis, applicable standards, competent professional judgement, independent verification or approval by the responsible duty holder.
- No website statement certifies a Fire & Gas system or guarantees detection, safety, regulatory compliance or risk reduction.
- No decision affecting life, process safety, plant operation or capital allocation should be made solely from Site content.
- Qualified engineers remain responsible for reviewing inputs, methods, limitations, outputs and final claims.
Any pilot, assessment, deliverable, confidentiality obligation, data handling commitment or professional service is governed by a separate written agreement. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls for that engagement.
4. Permitted and prohibited use
You may view, reference and share links to public Site pages for legitimate business evaluation. You must not:
- use the Site unlawfully, deceptively or in a way that could harm a person, system or organisation;
- attempt to bypass security, interfere with operation, introduce malicious code or gain unauthorised access;
- scrape, copy or systematically extract Site content except as permitted by law or with our written permission;
- misrepresent Site content as a certification, approval, engineering conclusion or contractual commitment; or
- submit confidential plant data, export-controlled material, personal data about others or safety-critical files through a general website channel.
5. Intellectual property
The Site, its branding, text, graphics, generated visual assets, interface design, methods and other content are owned by or licensed to Barrier Intelligence and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the public Site under these terms, no licence or ownership right is granted.
Names, logos and marks of third parties remain the property of their respective owners. You may not use Barrier Intelligence names, marks or visual assets in a way that suggests endorsement or partnership without written permission.
6. Accuracy, links and availability
We aim to keep the Site clear and current, but content may be incomplete, outdated or contain errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site without notice.
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We do not control or endorse their content, security, availability or privacy practices.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without express or implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barrier Intelligence and its officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or loss arising from reliance on Site content. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
8. Changes and applicable law
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after a revision means the updated terms apply from that date.
